The Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia MSA is the 22nd largest MSA in the United States, home to 2.5 million people. Located in the middle of the eastern seaboard, Charlotte boasts an excellent transportation network, which is one of the main catalysts for the city’s tremendous population and economic growth over the last decade. Charlotte is easily accessible by air, rail, or highway and is within 650 miles of more than 50% of the US population.

Largely known as a hub for banking and energy, Charlotte is comprised of a diverse economy. Home to seven Fortune 500 companies and sixteen Fortune 1000 firms. Charlotte’s economy continues to expand as employers are attracted to the city’s talented labor pool and the ability to recruit from several highly-regarded universities within a three-hour drive. Technology, manufacturing, logistics and healthcare are among those sectors that have experienced significant growth over the past decade

Why choose one of our Charlotte sites:

  • Local and regional connectivity. Carolina Tradeport has immediate access to I-85 allowing tenants to reach Uptown Charlotte and the surrounding population within 20 minutes. In addition, I-85 provides connectivity to major population hubs such as Atlanta and Washington, DC, Greenville-Spartanburg, Raleigh-Durham and Richmond.

  • Excellent transportation network. CLT Douglas International Airport is the sixth busiest airport in the world and now the second largest hub for American Airlines. Also located at CLT Douglas is Charlotte’s intermodal facility, managed by Norfolk Southern. The facility links air, rail, and truck to the east coast seaports of Charleston, Savannah, and Jacksonville.
